Dont starve yourself to lose weight
Weight loss is made possible through creating a deficit in the amount of calorie is consumed and used up. A calorie deficit can be achieved in two ways; either by increasing the physical activity and/or eating appropriate diet. Starving yourself is very damaging for the body and is the wrong approach to weight loss, and numerous people fall to the notion that if you eat less, you will lose weight. The reason is because the starving yourself slows down your metabolism and its ability to burn the fat effectively. By starving yourself, you are giving your body the signal that is a shortage of food and thus it starts accumulating whatever you eat in form of fats, as it functioned to survive.
When eating less, the body starts conserving energy and thus makes you weak, dull and highly inactive. Additionally, you fail to create a calorie deficit which is needed to lose weight. Another negative impact of starving yourself is that it makes you lose muscle tissue, which is quite difficult to reverse. Muscle tissue is essential for effective metabolism. Once you stop starving, the muscle tissue shortage will result in slow metabolism and a great degree of difficulty in losing weight. Another consequence of starving is that the moment you stop it, the weight piles up faster than you lost it. There is a great need for the realization that starving yourself is not the right way to go about weight loss. Instead, you should follow a diet plan that encourages you to eat good and healthy food which is in accordance to your body’s calorie requirements.
Exercise in additional to a nutritional diet, is essential for maintaining the muscle tissue in order to make the metabolism more effective in converting the fat into energy, a more sensible approach to lose weight.
