Nadia’s Weight Loss Blog

February 20th, 2009

Hi!  I’m Nadia Williams.  I’m a single, working, hockey, guitar and ballet (whew!) mom to two wonderful kids.  This doesn’t leave me much time for myself.  And as much as I try to make sure that my kids and I eat healthy, its not always possible for me to locate healthy food choices when I’m on the move – which I am A LOT, trying to balance my work (I’m a medical receptionist), driving the kids between school and activities, and shopping and other errands.

I saw on Tv about how to lose  25 pounds in 25 days and feel healthy with 100% pure, natural, and organic products Acai Berry & Colon Cleanse.

When my eldest, James, was born, the last 10lbs of my pregnancy weight just wouldn’t budge.  In my first year after having Chloe, I saw my weight go from 166 lbs (I was 145 lbs before the pregnancy) to 183 lbs, because of the depression and fear I had because I knew that my marriage was coming to an end.  It was not until 5 and a half years later, when Chloe went into first grade that I decided that now was the time to focus on myself. I would like to introduce a revolutionary, new (to Americans) plant-based remedy, Caralluma, an outstanding weapon to help you reduce your hunger and keep your diet on tract.

Nicholas Perricone MD. has written several books, primarily on the subjects of weight loss and maintaining the appearance of youth. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Michigan State Universitys College of Human Medicine, from which he received his MD.

Clinical Studies

Caralluma has undergone two human double blind, randomized, placebo controlled human clinical trials. Caralluma safety has been reviewed by three toxicology studies done per exacting OECD guidelines and has achieved self-affirmed GRAS [Generally Recognized As Safe] status.

I believe that Caralluma is safe to consume at the recommended dosage.

History of Caralluma Use

Indian tribes chew chunks of Caralluma Fimbriata to suppress hunger when on a day’s hunt. This succulent is used amongst the labor classes in South India to suppress appetite and enhance endurance. Wealth of India, the Indian Health Ministry’s comprehensive compilation on medicinal plants, lists Caralluma Fimbriata as a vegetable and as a famine food. The key phytochemical constituents of the herb are Pregnane Glycosides, Flavone Glycosides, Megastigmane Glycosides, Bitter Principles, Saponins etc.
